Best thing is that my first clown started hosting the anemone today

she only started when i added the other clown ,before she was always at the surface of the water around the filter and i thought there was something wrong with her as she never went more into the tank

looks like my sps has died
i should not have got it so early i guess both me and my tank were not ready for it.
Will try some more in the future when phosphate has gone

Problem with these tanks, is you have minimal zone for product placements unless you get creative.
Sorry to hear of your loss already.

Tank has been wet for 2 months today so time for some photo updates

There are a couple new corals in there .

stupid hermit crab just killed one of my snails :mad:

just made a little frag rack using stuff i had lying around
There is a magnet cleaner that i dont use, a grill from an old filter and super glue

Then its as simple as gluing the grill to the magnet

had to cut it a bit smaller, give it a clean and in the tank

so now i am able to move the zoa that the hermit crabs keep attacking away from them and also attempted to frag a couple to see how it goes

Looks good Donski. I have some scraps of acrylic to make a frag rack, just need to get some of the appropriate glue.

Stupid clown fish just bit me lol

Decided it's time to move the lights a little closer to the tank, dropped them by about 15cm so they are still a good 30cm above the water

3 month update
Not to much has changed

My anemone has at least doubled it's size since I got it

And these guys are my only new additions and fast becoming a favorite

I also was finally able to rehome my hermit crabs

What are the new snails? not one I have seen before... not that it means much!

They are nassarius snails, they hide under the sand until food lands then unearth themselves

Mine come out whenever I feed, that photo was taken about an hour after the lights came on after feeding some mysis.
