Skimmers finally online! after eventually changing 3x my total tanks volume over 3 weeks, skimmer decided its not gunna chuck a hissy fit from the melafix!

are you using a bacteria source with the bio pellets?

Bio pellets seem to be doing their thing, water looked more polished. Got a guy from my way to test my water with a Hanna and salifert.
Po4 0.02
Calc 400 bumped upto 450
Alk 15dkh!! No wonder my strawberry sc is browning'

Do you have any pics of your algae scrubber? I am really interested in them and would love to build one but I have too many other things to do first!

Aww too kind slin,
Vault boy I'll get a pic tonight :) I wouldn't really call it an algae scrubber, but it does work haha.

Thats a great site, where I got most of my motivation from.... Just want to get everything else finished and then think about a scrubber!
