Hey Matt,

Can you give me your take on the flow that you have with both wavemakers on the same glass panel near the weir.
How does that work out for you, with your tank viewable from the three sides. Any pro or negative findings?
Dont mean to hijack your TJ my tank is the traditional view. I'm intrigued.

Excellent question nils.
flow is fine. i have the vortech tuned down to about 30-40 percent anymore and i blow corals everywhere.
downsize is its harder to scape compared to being able to just pile everything against a back wall.
i find it quite different to the standard look and im happy with it. i feel it makes my size system appear larger then it realy is.

I really like it as a room divider...I agree too, I used to like the backwall setup but thesedays we all want to create something unique to stand out from the crowd. You have achieved it too, top marks awarded..

Plan is to put heaps of hammers where the hammers are in the middle. fill it up with a variety of colours. up on top of the rocks will be covered in zoos and have acros growing up towards the surface of the water ;)

Your scape has settled in perfect and is quite pleasing to the eye. I like your vision too especially about the zoas and acro.

Marine sources RDC 850. its not quite up to my standards. for an entry level skimmer its not bad and for the price you cant complain its just not consistant enough for me. eg one day the foam head will drop right down. next day its up next day its down and i am forever tuning it.
this is more of a recent thing. pumps been cleaned. skimmer pulled appart etc and there seems to have no issue. it has me stumped
