Yeah their boat building skills are pretty damn good but their trailer building skills leave a lot to be desired.

What I'm building is all thick gauge c-channel so it can't hold water anywhere, then it's getting hot dip galved. Adelaide galv reckon they have a bath big enough for the finished product which is over 9m long and right on 2,4m wide

How many feeds could you get out of that Pete? Looks huge!
I put 12 bags in the freezer, plus found enough meat on the wings for fish n chips last night.

I took the photo to email my fishin mate who said he was to sick with the flu to come out with me ;)

Got to love flathead, one of the best eating fish in the sea :p. We catch very few here in south WA, much prized when we get a good one.

Can't remember the deets but the flathead population has dropped by 50% in Port Phillip Bay in recent years. Still the most common fish you see there though because its their breeding ground

Port Phillip has the most Flatties, but most of these are small.

They are more scarce in Western Port, but a far better quality of fish (in terms of size) when you do get them.
