Is this going to be something regular or was it just a one off? Also, if I want to connect to the chat via an IRC client rather than directly through the website, what IRC server is the room on?

Hi firechild,

It can be as regular as you all want it to be, the chatroom is always open. You can not connect to it via IRC. Our old chatroom was an IRC channel, but for complete forum integration it is now running on a script. However, if you would like it to be used as a new external window, you can click on "Popout" and it will open up in it's own window.
