nice, I am starting to lean to a tank setup and build like this. the intergrated hoods make things awkward at times..

look forward to this build!

Cheers lads, hopefully it comes together because I've been massaging this plan to be exactly right for a long time now and I'm at a point where if it goes against the way I want it's going to be frustrating beyond compare.

Nils, the tank is already built mate. I bought it off of another reefer, it's just sitting quietly in my room waiting for some action.

What are you using for your renders Ben?
Everything is done in SketchUp then rendered in Kerkythea. I posted a video tutorial in another thread this morning... it's very easy!

That looks great mate keep up the good work!
Looks good mate, Cant wait to see this one start to take shape :)

When I can be bothered learning how to use 3DSmax or something :P which... being how lazy I've been lately... will be sometime about 2022.

I like the idea of the small internal overflow weir section - you don't really need the weir running from the top to the bottom of the tank ;)

That one is one of the proposed QT tanks, I'll have several of different sizes so I can cater to different hospitalisation needs as they arise. Basically designed so it can be run with a sump and without, with an external skimmer, with the ability to do 50% and 100% water changes, and to house what I need to long-term. A bottom-exit weir goes against what I want to achieve anyway :)
