It looks like they are trying to stop their customers from running to the opposition by offering something in the future ...

But, I don't think there is any rush as I can't see either of them offering a retail product in the short/medium term.

Funny how it all snow balls at once!
It's good to think that anywhere between 1-5 years a lot of the crucial parameters in our tanks can be automated and automatically tested.
And with healthy competition we'll have some choice.
