its just too damn easy ! this is something im in no rush to setup so ill just get bits and peices as i go and when its finally running then so be it.....

Those actaully look pretty interesting (lights) i normally prefer 3w chips but the par's seem to nearly all run the 1w's

Seeing as we are racking up the bill, can I sugest lily pipes or are you going to build them into the back wall?

60 degree leds on one of those raised up should suffice for 20cm deep water

what are lily pipes ?

nvm googled it. pipework is going to be run through the back wall at the bottom so you wont see anything

even better :) l do like the ADA lily pipes they create whirl pools that oygenate the water without causing riples beyond that point, so you get that nice glassy looking surface without the oxygen deprevation issues

I might setup an air pump in one corner and have it blow large bubbles for a couple minutes every 1/2 hour or so ?

I recon with a bit of effort and the help of some custom acylic you could do a really neat job of it, nothing better for a rock ppol!

I'll have a look into it is there any way to setup a wave box external to the tanK ?

kinda, you can do a closed loop with a pulsing pump

Hmmmm seems like a lot of effort..... Canister with a squid is the cheating way ;)
