These are awesome photos mate well done... I'm jealous, we were going to get a nice new DSLR camera with our tax but we have to buy a car instead :(

a decent entry level slr with lens is around the 1000$ mark what i find realy reasonable these days

yeah nikon is a good one to star with. I have the d3000

I really like the last photo, of the leaves, its something unusual :)
Also the cave photo was really well done.
I was going to buy a Canon 550D/600D but decided to upgrade my tank again instead haha.
This hsould be the last upgrade for a few years, so once its up and all done i can get a decent camera :)
