Just wondering of anyone knows anything about finding and keeping a pair of YMG's with a pistol shrimp?

Interested to see how they go as a pair, or even if they ever come as a pair. Have read that you can keep them as a fair but actually finding them may be a different matter.

Any tips appreciated..cheers

They are rare to get, darren at reefsecrets had a pair, but they went :( I really want a pair.

I have one ymg. Very easy to keep and eats any meaty food. It has paired with a non-symbiotic pistol shrimp and while the goby is happy, the shrimp is really pissed!

why ...what's the problem? do you think it would work with a pair?

The shrimp does not require the goby ( has good eyesight) and the goby just gets in the shrimps way

:D i saw a pair of large pistol shrimp take on a mantis shrimp , Even tho it was out numbered , I didn't expect it over so quick , They are very impressive ,:eek: So are mantis shrimp tho .

Good suggestion...he has one and a shrimp...really wanted a pair though
