Just noticed this stuff growing all over a rock (had it for years), it's orange and looks like thick paint has been poured over the rock. It must be growing like mad cause I'm sure it wasn't there in the last few days.
It seems to be rubbery, it doesn't just brush off.

Anyone seen this before?

Kinda looks like an encrusting sponge of some kind. I have some under a overhang in my tank, doesn't like light though where yours looks like it's in full light. Although your Zoas are stretched out so could be that it's growing in low light.
