Spiral tube worms (Spirorbis sp.). They are harmless and tend to colonise areas with high flow. They are filter feeders.

They are very good at colonising sumps. The larvae tend to be imported into the tanks when using natural sea water, in much the same way as coralline algae, bristle worm larvae, etc.
