Looks a little different to Aiptasia, have a number of them on the glass, though broke a few off and they got sucked into the filter, good riddance..

the body part is about 3mm long, and long (12mm) tenticles waving around in the current... Is it a young Aiptasia or something else? I have seen a few definite Aiptasia elsewhere in this tank hopefully once I catch a few of my peppermint shrimp and move them across they will solve that problem, or it is burning time..

maybe it was young Aiptasia? the peppermint shrimp ate them so who knows... lol

my guess is hydroids of some kind ... but weird looking for sure.
