Welcome To The Reefuge
Hello everyone,
After a lot of work we are finally ready to launch the new website. There are some new features which I would like to run you all through. There are also some old features which have slightly changed.
Wallet & Tipping - The "Gold" system has been replaced by the Wallet. Basically, this allows you to add funds into your Wallet. You can then use these funds to purchase account upgrades, etc. This also allows you to "Tip" posts you find handy or would like to show your appreciation to the author. When you "Tip" a post, it will deduct $1 from your wallet and transfer it to the authors wallet. The author can then use this money to buy upgrades or tip other users.
Sidebar - Every part of the site can be quickly accessed from the sidebar. There are a lot of conditionals written inside of it for users to get the best experience. Members and Businesses sidebars both work slightly different as they lead to different pages.
Chatbox - Unfortunately due to repeated rule-breaking it was cautioned that the chatbox would be deleted. Some users kept breaking the rules whilst others followed them. It was decided that a half-way point would be to make the chatbox VIP only. So, if you would like to access the chatbox, please purchase a VIP or VIP+ upgrade.
State Groups - The state groups are now a proper group. Please go to your states group and join it. This will allow you to receive updates and alerts when new content is added or a fellow neighbour needs your help.
Business Groups - These will be ready in one week.
With these tools and the fact that we are now open for the world to join we will see an increase in activity and members. Each and every one of us here has made The Reefuge what it is today and it is important that all members take the responsibility of leading the way for new members. We must keep our culture and the way we conduct ourselves on The Reefuge.
