My little urchin has gotten bigger and is now carrying around a green morph and a chunk of seaweed he found, plus some of the coralined sand.
Very interesting creature to watch get around the tank.

That is a very fine line in reefing, deep down I think we actually find the pain in the arse stuff fun. (reading between the lines - yes, they are a pain in the arse)

Stromb is kicking about using its trunk to clean the glass, urchin swings past above it on the glass, pops its sticky "grabbers" out and plucks the stromb off the sand. Stromb is put on urchin's back and taken for a ride.

My only concern with them is they eat the coraline algae of the rocks. I love the purple look

That they do - leave a pretty cool train too!

I'm keeping an eye on that. There's a stack of coraline in my tank, even the black coral sand is covered in it.
But if it starts to remove too much Mr Urchin is history!

Lol....I read the thread title as "Urine Collection Spree", and thought "Holy cow, it sounds like a rainy day at work"! I work as a vet tech, and on any given rainy day, you can count on being sent outside every 15 minutes to collect a urine sample.

Btw, funny little urchin, but I think he's get on my last nerve after a while!
