The Easy Life Water Change
I thought I would post a water change piece of equipment DIY thing that I use , I syphon the old water out the tank and then connect onto the kitchen tap and stand back watch the tank fill...I stick a net on to safe guard the fish getting sucked in.

Can you explain what the Gardena bit that’s attached to your tap does? I’ve seen this at a LFS destined as the best thing ever, I just don’t get what they do?

literally just allows you to connect the hose to a kitchen tap :) its a freshwater thing, not so useful for marine..
Yap , it’s an adapter as Andrew says , very useful if you have a fresh tank . Picture shows the airator still on the tap with adapter in hand. A beaut trick if you are a fish tank maintenance hand.
