[The Reefuge]

Hello everyone,

I would like to go over a few new things that are going to be added to The Reefuge. Some are simple little features and some a large.

Tank Journals
As you are all aware now we have a new tank journal system. This system is more like a blog for a journal rather then a simple thread in which they were stored in before. With that, here are some features that will be added to them very soon.

• Tank Journals will be listed in their category in the order of latest activity. This means when a tank journal has a post made into it, or a user replies to an update, the journal will be listed at the top of the tank journal pages. This is the exact same order the old journals were listed in.
• Next/Previous button. This is going to be applied soon as this will allow users to browse a journal from within the journal itself.
• Tank Journals created will be listed in the users profile. This means users will not need to link to any of their journals as it would be done for them automatically.

Hotspots
Hotspots are going to be launched tonight. Hotspots have replaced the old 'User Map' in which users would add their location. It has also replaced our business directory. Here are some features the hotspots offer.

• Ability for users to add themselves to the map. This allows other users to know which members live near-by.
• Ability for users to add Local Fish Shops to the map. This allows users to browse LFS's on the map.
• Ability for users to rate and comment Local Fish Shops directly on the map.
• Ability for users to link to LFS via the listing.

When the Hotspots are live, I ask all users to add their location to the map.
