Hi All,
Just discovered one of my small paper snails has hitchhiked on a piece of Live rock i moved to the new tank for the cycling process. Is it ok to leave him in there or do i need to catch and move the little bugger ?
He will be fine, if you get a torch out a few hours after the lights have gone off you will probably see more snails as well as all kinds of other life
He is having a good time by the look of it , and i have notice a few copepods and brittle stars in there as well and a small hitchhiker coral who i am hoping grows bigger so i can i.d it .
Those Stomatella snails are great for keeping algae at bay as they reproduce quite easily. Once they start going well you could trade or sell them for other animals.
