they are awsome with interesting behaviour. Usually sell for about $20-30 each.
They associate with anemones/corals

they are scavangers so will clean your tank. Best kept in groups of several males and females. These shrimp have seperate sexes. Males are slimmer and smaller than females. Also when females release their eggs, the do a back-ward summersault from the nightest point in the tank. Very cool to watch! Certainly one of my favourate species of shrimp (excluding mantis shrimp!)

nothing, your corals will take care of them. They are notoriously difficult to raise as the larvae are pelagic.

The larvae live in the watercolumn for several months before settling to the bottom. Larval settlement in the species is poorly understood and most lavae dye whilst still living as plankton

Dr S will probably explain this better than me, but pelagic refers to the open sea. If shrimp have a pelagic phase it means that the fertilized eggs drift with ocean currents and develop into larvae before settling. It is difficult to recreate this environment in an aquarium.

Edit : I am too slow again...
