well we survived a cat 5 cyclone in yeppoon and i received a lovely message from a one @ezza and @MagicJ asking how we were :-) thank you for your concern was such a lovely feeling to know that the rest of Australia was watching. we sort of feel like we don't exist up here some times

I play an online game on my phone and people in my game alliance are in the US, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Singapore and possibly Mars (well you wouldn't know, would you??) and they were all interested and concerned when the cyclone arrived up here (I'm not far from Newbie). Better still, in regards to my other online activities, i have been able to put a game friend in Canada in contact with someone i knew in Qld who was then able to direct her to specific help from specific people in her own country :) i love how the net allows people to reach each other in times of need :) it's an awesome time to be alive!!
