I have noticed my scolly is receiding around the edges, any one have any ideas for me,it was a gift so i would hate for anything to happen to it

I feed marine snow 1 x week, reef- roids 1 x week, brine shrimp and lobster eggs every day, i also dose tank with reef plus and reef trace 2 x a week

I target feed him

Lobster eggs would be good for a Scolly - pellet food is also a great size.

Are you sure the fish aren't taking it's food?

I have tried to recover one that looks similar to yours, unsuccessfully.

Is that a green scolly in the picture? If so, it looks to be healthy.

What are your nitrate and phosphate test results?

yeah that is a green one it is doing good, nit 20 and phos 0.25

Are you sure it is getting something to eat? With tangs and wrasses I would have my doubts.

Maybe make up some sort of cage to put over it during feeding time - do you still see its feeding tentacles?

thanks, just a few problems with some corals that I need to sort out, I noticed the green ones yesterday but not this fellow

It is commonly called Slow Tissue Necrosis (STN) and Nitrate is a common cause of it.
No3 at 20ppm is a bit high and would be the first thing I would target.
