What are your parameters-?
I don't think I would stress too much-sometimes it does take a bit longer

Your tank has been running about the same amount as mine has now. If your talking about the algae on the glass I would have said it is just the normal growth you get in all tanks, I get a coating on mine that I clean off once a week at water change time. The snails clean it a bit but still left with some to clean off. If your parameters are fine and you don't have a clean up crew at work yet maybe time to add some and clean off the glass by hand and see how fast it builds up. But if you still get ammonia and nitrite then don't add them.

snails good crabs bad...

If you are still reading ammonia in the tank I wouldnt be adding anything and just keep up with partial water changes until the ammonia disappears then add more snails and wait....

9 weeks is nothing to worry about give the tank 7-8 months to fully settle down, just make sure phos is as low to 0.01 as you can get it,
