Parameters
Ok so I decided to buy some new test kits.

Parameters are
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20-50
Ph 8-8.1
Kh 8
Cal 425
Mag 1440

What's peoples thoughts is anything too high or low.

Mrs spotted a blue sps acropora she wants hence the parameter check.

P.s I don't have a phosphate test kit as yet. But I'd suspect it to be high just like nitrates.

Spot on perfect parameters ... If you have algea growing you can suspect Phosphate to cause it.

Nitrate is creeping up! No more fish additions for a while, let the bacteria catch up. Try to feed a little less too :)

Bret from bunarong aquarium recommend Aquaforest testpro kits
And Reed essential aragonite a and c, I'd normal double check on here but I know Bret is more then trustworthy
Agree - Brett has a vested interest in one brand or another (as he sells/profits from it) but I also agree - his advice is solid. I would take his recommendation.

Any chance of correcting the spelling on the title - you might get a few more views.

Love the AF test kits, included reference solution is a fantastic addition.

As for the alk and cal additions, you can DIY randies recipe or use something off the shelf like those no worries at all. Just go SLOW with dosing, more people damage their tanks by over dosing early on than anything else.

I'll fix the typos too :)
