hey guys i just added carb sea titan moon sand and added the bio magnetic cleaner, now my mag cleaner is covered in sand and my mp10es won't work cause it sounds like its grinding on sand, tried cleaning it...

Have you pulled it apart completely? there might be sand in the shaft too

Yeah i pulled it apart completely. works for a min or 2 then i think the sand must get pack into it and it starts to grind again.

Have you pulled it apart completely? there might be sand in the shaft too

yea mine is also magnetic. has not got into any of my pumps yet touch wood. didn't even know til i dropped a cleaning magnet into it. im probs gonna go back to white. kinda concerned what its made of being magnetic and all. my bet iron or nickel.

Shit, apart from the damage to the mp10, that can't be good. Though I am pretty sure a lot of people use that sand?

I guess there's 'known' and there's 'known'. Unless it is directly called out on the packaging/site, you'd have to come across it online. I have a vague memory of the fact, but hadn't realised it would get into an mp10 like that.

I just remember people saying to be cautious because its notorious for getting attached to the magnet cleaner and scratching the glass

Yeah that is a reason I don't use this sand. I hope the pump is OK!
