My jbj hqi
It's been a minute since I've been on. So a short description of what's been going on. So I battled dinoflagellate for like a month. And finally won by shutting my lights off for 3 days, taking my rock out And brushing it off, scrubbing and cleaning out the back sump, adding an extra power head in the main display, I took out one of the return pumps to give my skimmer more time to pull out nastys from the water. And replaced the de Halid with a 14k phoenix. I also mod the oceanic protein skimmer. I enlarged the reaction chamber, to give the bubbles more contact time with the water, lifted my hood So I my temp doesn't jump so badly. Although I'm having to top off more regulary. And I added a Duncan

Is there anything else I can do, maybe some one can suggest a coral to purchase, that's a good touch to the tank

The lighter looking red patch in the top of pic 4 looks like cyano. Try scrapping it just a little bit, if it comes away easily it's cyano.
If it's hard and doesn't scrape off easily it's probably dark red coralline algae, from which I've read is OK. (I hope it is - I've had it in my tank from the start and it doesn't seem to be a problem, I also had some cyano a while back but I cleared that up).
