My first salt water tank...(Aquael Reefmax 105)
Introduction:
Reefing Since: 1/11/2011​
System Objectives: To make sure all of my fish are do alright, and also getting more experience from this tank, so in the future i will custom make my tank and sump.​
Type of reef: Nano reef​
Display System:
Display Tank Dimensions: 60 x 45 x 40cm/24 x 16 x 18”​
Display Lighting: Three 24w linear T5 and one blue LED, but will change to Ecotech radion led light.​
Stand: Custom make, not sure the brand.​
Hood or Rimless: Hood​
Sump Design: no sump.​
Protein Skimmer: because it is all in one tank, so this device not work well so plan to change to Aqua medic Turbloflotor 500 protein skimmer​
Filtration: back of the tank...​
Power head: At moment using Aquael reef circulator 2600 but will change to Ecotech mp10wes​
Support systems:
NSW or ASW: NSW water for mixing salt.​
RODI SYSTEM:​
4 Stage RO DI Unit 200 LPD W/ Dual Pressure Gauge
Brand of salt: Red Sea coral pro...​
Chiiler: Iceprobe by nova tech.​
Phosphate Reactor: Phosban 150 reactor by two little fishies(stop using due to have cat at home dont want to get flood)​
Evaporation Top Up: by hand...will change to Tunze Osmolator 3155​


Water test kit: API Master kit.(Do test at shop now)​

James, good to see you start a Tank Journal. Look forward to the pictures.

It is only a fairly small tank so you will need to be vigilant to keep your tank parameters stable, especially the temperature and salinity.
