Gross feeding as your finding can be an issue at times. Sometimes you feel the desire to throttle your fish.
As long as your lighting is sufficient for hosting zooxanthellae its not a major drama. Depending on the marine fare and proximity, they still get shredded morsels and juices. Alternatively coax your clowns away if possible and then gross feed your anem smaller pieces ( which your fish may pick it from the mouth part anyways), or if its not hosting, feed after lights out.
