Mtg coral pics April 2020
Corals still pumping and new frags showing some growth tips what is nice. Thinking of upping alk a little (currently keep it 7-8, May raise a little for accelerated growth

Be interesting to see how they go long term ive never realy did a full sps frag tank before im usualy LPS and maybe one or two acros.

I'm sure it'll be fine. I've always mainly had LPS too.

I'm finding that SPS is way more predictable than LPS. With SPS, if your levels are good, they are good.

With LPS, especially Euphyllia, even if your level are bang on perfect, they can melt for no reason you can test for. I've always thought that Euphyllia especially, is much more sensitive than the literature leads us to believe.

Have to agree with you there I used to get that a lot with my hammer collection all of a sudden for no reason one would just die never made any sense.

Me too, really bizarre. I have more success with paraancora than ancora. With ancora, you tend to lose the lot whereas with paraancora you tend to just lose a head or two. Having said that we've got an ancora that has been in our tank for 8 years.
