I'm probably doing something wrong, I'm just bumbling my way through with micro communities - are there any instructions?

Anyway people are having trouble joining my group - they're getting insufficient privileges messages.

There are no instructions. If users would like to post, they need to click "Join Community" in the sidebar on the community page.
