Introduction:hi all,my name is mark and i am just starting out .i am from perth wa.my tank is a aquareef300.
Reefing Since:just starting

System Objectives: is to learn about saltwater aquarium keeping and be able to keep a reef aquarium with happy fish and corals

Initial Fill Date: 8/11/11

Display Lighting: 4 t5 fluros 2 white 2 blue

Stand:wooden /aluminium

Hood or Rimless:hood

Sump Design:3 chamber sump
Filtration:bio-balls + 40kg liverock

Support systems:

NSW or ASW: asw at the moment

Display Water circulation: 2 * aqua one 103 1200 lph

Return Pump:pond master mk2

Skimmer:aqua one g224

Evaporation Top Up:na

Chemical additions:

Calcium Addition:

Alkilinity Addition:

Magnesium Addition:

gday nick,thing are going pritty good i think so far.have only had the tank for around 8 weeks.so far i have introduced 2 clowns, a coral banded shrimp and 2 chromis.all seem to be going good.checked out your tank and it looks great.

think im just going to spend the next couple of months getting used to looking after the fish and keeping the water parameters right.also wanting to purchase a chiller to keep the temp right as its getting up to around 29 degrees.

Glad to hear its progressing nicely, CBS are da bomb!
Now the tank is cycled you might want to ad some soft corals or even LPS as they will suck up the phosphates/nitrates instead of algae.
O and before investing in a chiller try a fan blowing over the water surface, cools tank by a few 2 degrees for 20 bucks instead of over 300 (after pump)
