Seen this slug in the back of my tank, its about 5cm long black or a really dark blue with two wite dots. Pics were hard to get but can kinda make it out.

Anyone have a i.d?Is it safe to have in the tank?

ok i have found out what it is its Dendrodoris nigra or black nudibranch. From what i have read i think its reef safe but not 100%

It can often be difficult to get a positive ID on these guys - I would probably leave it unless you know it is eating something it shouldn't.

Yeah defiantly a Dendrodoris nigra.

After abit of searching seems to be a fine in tank, hard to keep alive though.

At least he's small - hopefully he does okay for a while but at least you don't have to worry too much if it does die off, won't nuke your tank.
