Id Please
Can somebody help me id this live rock hitchhiker? It contracts at night and glows yellow/green under blue light. I thought it might be a majano anemone?

Not the best of pictures :rolleyes

When you look at Google Images of a majano, does it look similar?
Sorry - my phone takes crappy photos. I think it's probably a colonial anemone, not a majano. I'll just keep a close eye on it and be ready to strike if it starts multiplying.

I had a small anemone that I could not identify. It was neither Aiptasia nor Majano. I had it for over 2.5 years and it never moved and it never spread.

Having said that, I'd be cautious and remove it or remove that rock to a quarantine tank for further observations.

I had several unidentified anenomes and aiptasia on my previous purchase of live rock. I took the rock for about a minute while I burned the parts where there was aiptasia. Brutal but effective. Never seen the lights of any aiptasia in my tank for over a year now. didn't effect the live rock.
