Happy weekend all.

So in accordance with the prophet, i went to the LFS this weekend and bought stuff.

I purchased a Duncan's coral and some strange fluffy polyps i was hoping we'd be able to ID!!

People have a love/hate relationship with them. They can quickly reach plague proportions if they like their tank. They are an anemone, a colonial anemone.

That's the nice thing about making it to post graduate school here in the US, none of that. You write a paper and that's the end of it.

Ive got 4 nems in my tank.....pity the clowns defend them so ferociously that im not bothere to remove them lol

If you think those small clowns defend an anemone fiercely, you ought to see how nasty the larger ones are. A friend has a mated pair of omanensis clowns that will take a chunk out of your hand if you get too close to their ritteri, lol. The female is a shade under 15cm.
