Hey guys.
Am brand new to marine tanks and have started off with
The hardest tank a nano reef.
This is due to cost n space in my unit.
I have an aio 46 litre tank.
I have upgraded the pump lighting.
I have a tunze 800 lph powerhead
And have upgraded to two 18w 50/50 pc
Fluros with two 10watt blue actinic LEDs

Now my question is where is the cheapest/best
Place to buy turbo snails and clean up crew in general??
I live in dy on Sydney's northern beaches but
I am in cronulla every other weekend.

I just find lfs charging 20 bucks a snail a bit exorbedent

Any help would be much appreciated

Also if you would like to chime in with what
I should have in my clean up crew eg type and quantities
That would be great.

If you can get up to 20 posts, the NSW section of the forum will be available to you - NiCd regularly has Turbo snails for sale at $2 each.

Yes I have read that once you have a good size colony they will breed /spawn and the numbers will stay at a stable level.
They will be small but I don't mind.
I'm just trying to save money where I can

You could build up you post numbers by starting a Tank Journal ;)

Hello NiCd,
I am interested in the clean up crew for a salt water tank.
I am new in to this.
My tank 215 L, with 15kg live rock which a few pices tuened brown after having nice purple color 3 weeks so far. Tank ph and all values good.
Can I buy some turbos and clean up crew from you? I am close to north sydney.

Hi, I'm also starting a new nano tank (36L) and was looking out for a clean up crew, hopefully something that won't knock everyone around in my tank... My local fish shop only has massive trochus snails which look like they will topple everything in sight. Would we be able to get in contact? I live in eastern Sydney. Thanks!
