After a 4 year hiatus, decided to scratch the itch and start up a basic low maintenance reef tank for the missus to enjoy and be a part of.

Simple objectives in mind was to have an easy to maintain reef full of colour and flubber.

Some photos below (tank startup: 2 Nov 2019)

The secret is in the sauce, which is having no idea. Seems to work better on the iPhone 7 then the X, so no clue why!

There’s a nice ring of pups at the base of the hammer, so if I can be assed to propagate them like the reverse hammer I might give it a crack!

This tank looks fantastic! Are you planning on adding any other corals to it?

Haha It’s pretty full currently but planning on adding a blue Tonga morph, some rics, another scolly (the warpaint you can see earlier is in the back of the tank recovering hard- purchased it heavily receded) pink gonipora frag and a nice gold torch if I can get my hands on one. Maybe another clam if I can free up some real estate. Trying to avoid SPS generally but might entertain an orange Monti cap. My Phos levels crept upto 0.1, browned out the green Monti but I’ve since brought it back down below 0.02. Probably striped too much out haha
