Hello

I would like to know how I can turn off email alerts for private discussions. I like seeing the inbox notifications when I log on here, but the constant messages on my phone alerting me is a bit of a pain.

I've had a look at the control panel section, but don't seem o see an option to turn email alerts off. Can someone here please advise? Thanks in advance....:)

Go to http://www.thereefuge.com.au/account/preferences and uncheck "and receive email notifications of replies".

Thank you, but this is unchecked....I unchecked the box directly above this just then, I'll see how this goes and ill let you know.

Yes, looks like unchecking the first box worked.....

Thank you...the email alerts are not annoying, just a lot of them....:)

Actually it didn't, still receiving email alerts.

Can you please have a look at this for me. Boxes unchecked that you stated. The sheer amount of alerts is the issue. I don't wish to receive email alerts for private conversations, this is the main problem.

I do like to keep the alerts at the top right of the page when I visit however.
