Today we had a busy start with myself and @daveH doing some work on his tank's sump. We replaced it with a beut of a sump with some nice new design features. Bigger sock with overflow feature and all round better flow through and size increase. Looks fantastic.

Look at him go... Almost feel sorry for him

Raised the water level by 15-20mm and mounted those sexy Ethereal's a bit higher so as to not get those baby's feet wet.

Thanks mate, you're right we do work well together.
Between us we always manage to work through all the problems and come up with some interesting results.

This is how I did the new sump design. Mocked the whole thing up in the same thickness cardboard to the exact measurements.
This also made sure all the equipment fitted correctly within the compartments.
When I took this to my plastics guy (Mr Plastics) it was really easy for him to duplicated the build without any confusion.
Very happy with the end result.
