I was watching my red and white crab last night trying to clean out under the front of his rock due to the sand goby filling it in a bit. The Formia star was laying one of his legs in the same spot. The crab started out dragging sand back in their usual scooping style. When he had made the bit of a hole again he got the back of his "closed hand" and pushed the star out of the way in one foul swoop.

Always something interesting going on in my tank.

He is a really weird crab,. He seems to like the fish pellets that have fallen near his cave best of all. I've tried giving him brine a marinara mix when feeding the suncoral but he just hasn't got the same aggression with grabbing the tube like the normal brown/grey hitchhiker crab does. At least I get to see him properly now when I feed the fish in the morning.
