Community Update
Hello everyone,
I would just like to share a few things that are going to be coming up in the next few weeks.
Tank Journals
New Look
The current system is really powerful as far as it being a 'journal' goes. The problem with it seems to be it is a little bit messy. These will have a new 'look' implemented to make them act similar to how a facebook page looks. So they will have a cover photo, a collapsible description container, and update containers running the stretch of the page. The system will stay the same so users will not need to migrate or do anything different with their tank journals.
Automatic Linking
Another problem users have reported is finding each others journals. This is now going to be easy. Above every users signature it will display the users Tank Journal(s) by default, linking directly to the journal(s) when clicked. This was a rather large undertaking as it involved building a new cache system in order to not slow the site down to a creep.
Free, VIP and VIP+
Signature
Free users will no longer have the ability to have links in their signature. Their signatures will also have a limit as to how many characters they can have on them.
VIP users will have the ability to have one link in their signature. Their signatures will also have a higher character limit.
VIP+ users will have the ability to have three links in their signature. Their signatures will also have a higher character limit.
Coral Program
@Agent M and I have been very busy recently working on a conservation program for the VIP and VIP+ members. This is not a free trading program nor is it a pay it forward program. However it is not a paid program either. We will release more information as we near the end of the program build in its own dedicated update.
