Collected Some Lookers!
Yesterday I spent the day diving and checking out a new reef I found. I collected some SPS and a really sweet Urchin which I have forgotting the photograph and it is hiding right now. I also collected some pretty sweet acro crabs and a very very nice mated pair of pistol shrimp, with the female being gravid!
These where all delicately "tickled" from the large SPS colonies I was diving around. Here is a photo of the Acro crabs I cant get enough of! and then of the male pistol still in the bucket.
I plan to return to this spot and collect some more variety's, There was also a huge amount of stunning shrimp id never seen before. So I will be making a very nice acro/invert system in the near future to show off these little creatures! For the time being I am keeping the collected specimens in a holding bpx with a small bit of sand and SPS colony for them to feel more at home. I will update with pics of it in the system.
