I just lost another coral to this, is there anyway to get rid of it out of my tank please, between that and the pink hair stuff that keeps clogging up every thing.... I clean out every day for over a year now... I am about ready to give up

Hi nitrates 25...salifert, dkh7.8 am 0. nitrite 0

I'm not sure that anyone really knows what causes this disease. Many corals succumb to it and it will often spread to others in the tank if you're not careful. Always remove the diseased coral in a container to try to contain the spread - I used to syphon out all the damaged tissue before removing the skeleton from the tank.

It is thought to be a bacterial disease so it can occur at any time.
