Big meal for a heliofungia
My heliofungia is recovering from either contact with a BTA or an increase in temperature...so low in the tank in a slow flow area....anyway was feeding my BTA and piece of scallop dropped into the helio....it was about 10 - 15mmm diametre and the helio is 6" diametre...anyway I thought the clowns would pick it up like they had another piece so I left it...anyway an hour later I saw the last of it disapearing into the fungia...amazing, now there is a huge bulge just where the "mouth" is......should I feed it large pieces like this? or is it bad for it

I read somewhere that feeding large pieces is not a problem as long as it is not very often otherwise it can lead to problems with indigestion (they used a bigger word that i cant remember) so you should be fine if you dont feed it this way all the time.
