Heh - that's the thing about the nicest Gibby LPs - old, beautiful, made with blood, sweat and tears, and worth a fortune. I don't mind my Epi, even if it is one of the chinese manufactured ones. Mine is out of the custom shop, as it's in a limited edition colour that comes without a pickguard. If I could play for a damn, I'd probably upgrade the pups, but I can't, so it'll stay stock.

Wish I had the skills to actually attempt to handbuild one. I can't even set up my bass the way I like it anymore.

haha - its actually not that hard to build one. Just a lot of researching and measuring 20 times before you cut. Its ctually very basic, just has to be done right and very accurately
