Found a crab on my zoas the other night, they have been dying off lately wasn't sure if algae issues on them or this crab now. It was carrying something on it's back too, threw it in the sump anyway

And this was at the lfs he wasn't quite sure what it was

Can't tell much from the first photo, sorry. But, as a general rule, crabs don't belong in a reef tank.

The second photo is a chiton - quite a large one too by the look of it.

Cheers man, sorry yeah I know he wouldn't turn around. I threw him in with the macro so everything's safe.

Yeah it's huge, are chitons reef safe?
