I feed my BTA frozen Brine shrimp twice a week. Over the last 3 months, he has doubled in size. When I fed him pieces of prawn, I thought they were small, and he took them in, but I found them disgorged later on.

How big is your nem and how big is your chopped prawn? Try smallest cut possible then work your way up. Logically solid meat should make someone something fatter bigger than mince meat.
My BTA was about the size of a 50 cent coin 3 months ago. He is now bigger than a tennis ball, extends well every day and is coloring up nicely.
The Ocelaris clown still has not even tried to move in.Will experiment with prawn again.
