Got 4 live abalone from fish market today just see if I can keep it (or I can cook it :P)
1 dead when home. Got some NSW when on the way home and the rest are doing well (in separate tank).

However their slime give the skimmer a big problem especially they spawn whole night non stop, sperm, eggs everywhere at the bottom of the tank. Sucked some out dont think can hatch it.. but who knows ....

$12 for 2 why buy $40 for 1 in other shops?

Feed them well because they have been starved and purged for weeks !!!!
I am sure they will give you lots in return even if it is cleaning up after them having sexy times.

Found some nori see if they like it. If not probably need to get some algae from my main tank lol

Saw some article they said the babies like diatom which I have heaps in the tank (err I know I didn't look after the DT well).

I dont have time to do in the industry way which separate them to get the eggs and sperm separately. But within about a week time I can see if they are hatched....

Well if they hatch I will have on or two. How big we're they?
